To celebrate returning to blogging (and I've noticed that I'm not the only one that has been absent from the inter webs...) I'm going to announce my first contest of the year!
To enter, simply leave a comment on this post, saying what project you are looking forward to this spring. I will select a random comment to win a set of my handcrafted "Inspiration" stitch markers (image on the left) as well as a small sized (perfect for socks and other small accessories) project bag.
Personally, I have two tops that I'm looking forward to working on, and several pairs of socks! Comment away and good luck! The winner will be drawn using a random number generator, and will be selected Sunday night, to be announced Monday morning. Please include your email address, Ravelry name, or Twitter handle!
I am looking forward to making a few baby blankets for my cousins. We are looking forward to added two little boys to our clan this summer. So I am excited to start!

I am 5 months pregnant and looking to learn how to make baby hats! I've seen ao many that I'd loved to put on my baby when he arrives in August, but as fr as I can go is a scarf :( my knitting skills are pretty small so I'm currently looking for knitting classes here in Portland. I'd figure I have 4 more months to learn :)

ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to a mini-break from design knitting and making the Gemini Top (current Knitty) for myself. I haven't made a personal project in ages. :-)

I just cracked the code and learned to knit on DPN's, so I'm looking forward to diving into the sock-knitting. I initially came here to check out your Sack o' Suds pattern, but looking at your list of freebie patterns, I'm off to check out the Dishcloth and coffee wraps, too!
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to knitting myself the Lalique cardi!
ReplyDelete(hopefully) getting my Renaissance jumper finished before winter actually hits down here, and getting stuck into dyeing some new colorways in fibre.

I'm looking forward to knitting so many things this year using my very own handspun yarn! I just learned how to spin this year and have been having so much fun, but I haven't yet knit anything with it. I think I'll start with a sweater for my sister's new baby :)
ReplyDeleteLove the stitch markers!
